One of our goals is to make our customers—regardless of the size of their farm or the crops they grow—the most profitable and sustainable anywhere.
An example of this is our new 8RX Tractor, which was just named a “Sustainability Product of the Year” by the Business Intelligence Group. The organization also included John Deere on its list of 56 Names in Sustainability You Should Know in 2020.
“This is a great honor as it reflects our ongoing efforts to elevate sustainability in the solutions we deliver to our customers,” said Jahmy Hindman, chief technology officer. “Our smarter equipment continues to assist farmers to be more profitable and sustainable by producing more with less, whether that is fewer passes in the field with less soil disturbance or less application of herbicide, pesticide and fertilizer.”
Hindman said the 8RX tractor improves sustainable agriculture practices and reduces the environmental impact through reduced soil disturbance in seeding and grain cart applications while improving efficiencies through faster field speeds and more efficient traction delivery than past models.
